What are the additional costs associated with gynecomastia surgery?

• Blood testing charges: Since this is a general anesthesia based procedure the doctor will ask you to do a full blood test also known as surgical profile to check for parameters such as complete blood count, urine examination, diabetes, viral infections, coagulation profile. This is done to ensure your full safety for the surgery and is mandatory for all patients who opt for the surgery
• Scar Creams: In case you are very concerned about scars, the doctor may prescribe you scar cream, which you have to purchase separately. This may not be prescribed for all patients
• Silicone gel sheets: In case the doctor is of the opinion that you might benefit additionally by using these sheets for your scar, then after discussing with you, the doctor will prescribe the silicone gel sheets which you have to purchase separately
