Additional cost that you may incur:
While we have made our packages as inclusive a possible, but there may be costs you may incur over & above.
1) If the doctor requires more tests in addition to the rapid testing, then those will be charges separately
2) The package only includes prescribed painkillers and antibiotics post surgery. Additional medicines or creams, e.g. scar cream is prescribed by the doctor this can be purchased at the clinic at MRP or from outside
The cost of circumcision depends on the method used. Smart Surgeons has flexible package options from which you can choose.
The cost of circumcision can vary from 35,000 to 50,000, but these packages provided by other clinics and hospitals do not cover the consultation charges or the blood testing cost. Eventually, Smart Surgeons’ cost effective all-in-one transparent package proven to be more cost efficient.
The most important cost for circumcision is the surgeon fee. In case of Alisklamp circumcision the cost of the disposable device makes it more expensive. At Smart Surgeons, we have optimized both these costs using protocols and pre-packaged surgical kits for ensuring minimal wastage. With this we ensure that we transfer the cost saving as price benefit to our customers. After all, why should you pay for the wastage done by the clinic or hospital staff - at Smart Surgeons you pay only for what was used on you.
At Smart Surgeons there are generally no additional costs in 95% of the cases. However, in 5% of cases, there might be additional costs as below:
Additional blood tests, other than the rapid tests included in the package. These are needed in customers who have a pre-existing medical history like diabetes, or cancer. In these cases the doctor might ask for additional tests. If you have an existing report, please share with the counselor if this might be valid.
However, as compared to our standardized packages, other clinics and hospitals will not cover the pre-surgical blood test and medicines. You may have to pay for this over and above the surgery fees.
In most cases only open circumcision might be covered by insurance, however the reimbursement is done only when the supporting documents show that the procedure was medically necessary. Medically necessary conditions for circumcision include causes like infections or inflammations. Smart Surgeons provide you with documents necessary for getting your claims processed. However, neither do we provide guarantee on reimbursement nor can we provide cashless facility.
